About the Artist
Joe Jamaldinian is a local fine artist, and an award-winning author and illustrator, living in Burke, Virginia. His love and talent for art was apparent from an early age. Joe primarily pours his energy into paintings and illustrations as he is an artist through and true. He has published two children's books starring the cute and curious, Penguin Bob. Joe plans to write more stories about Penguin Bob and his adventures around the world. In addition, to further grow his mission of sparking kids' imagination and creativity through expanding children's literacy and love of reading; Joe works with businesses, nonprofit organizations and charities, to ensure needy kids get access to his books. He simply wants all kids and adults to pursue their dreams in life, and says to all: "Follow your bliss."

Who is Penguin Bob?
Bob is a cute and curious penguin who doesn't like the cold and learned to follow his heart to his dreams. Bob travels the world dedicating his life to helping others learn to do the same. Bob's admirers call him cute, curious, funny, determined, wise and adorable. Basically, Bob is just like you. He has dreams and desires; and he is wise inside, just like you. Bob wants us all to listen to our hearts and follow what it says. Oh, and to smile, too.
